Lauren Soedarto Executive Director
Lauren joined Children's Academy in 2015 as Executive Director, overseeing and leading both day-to-day and long term aspects of the business. She joined CAON from the Suzuki School, where she taught for over 10 years in the 3 to 5 year old classrooms and held a Directors position since 2010. In 2007, Lauren attended the Montessori training at Kennesaw State University, working closely with Dr. Feland Meadows, the Goizueta Endowed Chair of Early Childhood. Lauren has also taken courses on the Pan American Montessori teaching approach for three to six years of age.
During her time as the Assistant Director of the Suzuki School she worked closely with the Head of Schools as they embarked on their Montessori transformation into the program it is today. She has brought her training and wealth of knowledge in Montessori curriculum to CAON and is used within all age groups as another avenue of learning for students. Lauren received her degree in English Literature from Georgia State University with a minor in History, and studied at University of Northumbria, UK, for her concentration in British and American Literature.
